Task:
Modernize the electrical protection systems of all four power generators of Kruonis PSP, its main transformers and a 330-kW bus bar in order to increase their reliability and reduce service costs.
Design solutions:
For the relay protection of hidrogenerators and transformers two independent duplicate protection systems are chosen. We have done relay protection setting calculations. We have chosen relay protection and automation terminals of high reliability, low power consumption and resistant to various interference. Protection relays were integrated into the Document Management System.
